Kate’s buffalo plaid baby quilt

Kate made her first quilt, for her baby boy.  She used a buffalo plaid, that I’m pretty sure is a moda fabric, I could be wrong though.  She bordered it with a stripe and a gingham.  The backing is yellow, and I know she’s wanting to bind it in yellow.  

She requested something with squares, and of course Diagonal Plaid by Patricia Ritter is what is suggested, and I love the quilting with the fabrics.  Diagonal Plaid is available at Urban Elementz.  Click here and search for Diagonal Plaid.

I used a cream 30 tex Perma Core thread from A&E and a 8020 cotton/poly batting.
