Barbara’s Lets Talk Turkey table topper!

Barbara made this beautiful Lets Talk Turkey table topper that is available on Quilting Daily’s website, for her daughter!!  We’ve had the most beautiful fall here in northern Utah.  Leaves changing, and lots of sunshine!!   For me, quilting fall themed projects is one of my fav’s!

This is going to be perfect across a long beautiful table!!

I love creating different textures in my quilting...lines, pebbles, curves, grass, and feathers.

I used a tan thread to quilt the entire runner, 30 Tex Perma Core from A&E.  I also used my favorite Winline 8020 cotton/poly blend batting.

Here is a great tutorial on continuous quilting, and I used two of my Circle2™ machine quilting rulers, to quilt the design above, in the squares.

Head on over to my YouTube channel to see more tutorials...   https://www.youtube.com/user/QuiltingIt

These are the two rulers that I used, shown in the video above.  They also come in clear  acrylic.  Go here:  https://www.quiltingit.com/shop/?category=Rulers

I love the double orange peel design in the center of these simple two inches squares, and it’s easy!!  Love using these rulers.

I used the 8” Edge ruler from Linda at thequiltedpineapple.com to quilt the lines and do the corner design...check the video below on how to use rulers.

A quick video on how to do this step down corner, without having to mark anything.  It’s all about using the lines on the ruler.

Thank you for stopping by!!

happy quilting!!
