Shelley’s 2 baby quilts
Shelley is amazing!! And, I’m sure one of the favorite aunts in her family. She made these beautiful quilts for nieces and nephews, when they start having kids of their own.
I love her choice of funky fabrics on this one...plus the circles and squares are a great contrast. I also love it when my clients mix such a diverse variety of fabrics together.
I used a white 30 tex Perma Core A&E thread and my favorite 8020 cotton/poly blend batting.
I quilted the Malachite digital pantograph design, on one of Shelley’s quilts before, and she loved the density of it! It’s by Patricia Ritter and is available at https://www.urbanelementz.com/malachite.html
Look at that quilting on that Shannon Fabrics minky. This is why I love solid minky. The quilting just sings!!
The navy and soft pinks in this quilt, are just so pretty!!

Those touches of gold in the Ombré Dots, by V & Co for Moda, make this quilt shine!
Shelley also wanted the Malachite quilting design for this quilt as well. It’s a perfect wonky swirl.
