Jeanenne’s Log Cabin Quilt

Hello Friend,

I hope you’ve had a great week, I can’t believe it’s already Friday. Yay for the weekend!!

Jeanenne made this beautiful log cabin quilt. She was making a different log cabin quilt, and didn’t like the layout, so she decided to lay it out this way instead. I love the pop of black in the centers and all the beautiful colors. A perfect scrappy pattern. (Note • if someone knows of a pattern or tutorial that has the blocks laid out like this, let me know and I’ll link it.)

I used my favorite 8020 cotton poly blend batting from Winline Textiles, which is based in Utah. I also used Omni cream thread from Superior Threads.

I used my favorite Kapari quilting design to quilt it. Kapari is available in my shop in several different digital formats. It looks so great with the wide variety of fabrics and the modern layout of the quilt.

Do you have a ton of strips??? This could be your next quilt!!

Another look…

Do you have some quilt tops that you’d like to have quilted? I’d love to help you and quilt them.

I have a new digital calendar, which allows you to pick a date for quilting. Check it out here: https://calendly.com/quiltingit

Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks for stopping by today!!! Happy quilting, Leisha
