Alyssa’s Baby Quilts

I met Alyssa years ago. She used to longarm at a local quilt shop. She since got married, had a little boy, and is trying to adopt. She made several quilts and went to a show to sell them to help with adoption expenses. These are some of her quilts!

I love the simple modern look to these baby quilts/throws. The quilting texture is so so good.

I used natural white Omni thread from Superior Threads and 8020 cotton poly blend batting on all of the quilts.

This is my Kapari quilting design. It’s simple yet adds so much fun texture. Kapari is available in my shop.

It’s so exciting for me to see a design I create come alive on a quilt!!!

If you ever need a quick gift or want to make yourself a throw, find a few fabrics you like and make a quilt.

I used Soho by Sarah Ann Myers from Urban Elementz to quilt the star quilt below.

I used Cross from Jess at the Longarm League to quilt the next stripe throw. I love love love the texture! Look at the minky backing.

I used Donut Connection, also by Jess. This is such fabulous texture!

I hope from this post you can see how simple quilting designs can add so much wonderful texture to a quilt!! Happy quilting! • leisha
