Mary Ann’s Aggie Quilt

Good morning!!
I hope you have a great week ahead of you. Today is going to be a quick little post.

Mary Ann made this fun t-shirt quilt for her daughter and son in-law for Christmas!! Yes…I’m way behind in sharing quilts. I did want to share the quilting on this quilt.

I made a t-shirt quilt awhile back and did a blog post…and then recently made another and did a Instagram tutorial, which I saved on my highlight bubbles “t-shirt quilt 1” and “t-shirt quilt 2”…if you want to go look at the play by play. https://instagram.com/leishakaye/ There was lots of interested.

Mary Ann did a beautiful job making this quilt!! She used the apparel interfacing by Pellon Basics 931TD fusible midweight, to back the shirts and stabilize them.

I used my Squared©️ design to quilt it!! So…this weeks design of the week is Squared. It is already marked 20% off, in my shop. This design does require a 50% offset. Which can also be done manually. I suggest a height between 4.5”-5”, when you’re setting up the design.

I used my favorite 8020 Winline cotton poly blend batting and Superior Thread’s Omni white thread.

This design is versatile!! It’s my go to design for t-shirt quilts, guy quilts, quilts that need geometric quilting, baby quilts and so on…

Love this quilting texture! And, Go Aggie’s!! They lost their last basketball game in their conference tournament, yet found out they were invited to play in the NCAA tournament! Excited for them!!

Thanks for stopping by! Happy quilting.
