The Lunch Ladies quilt

One of the lunch ladies that worked at the high school I graduated from, is retireing after 28 years. The other lunch ladies decided to get together and make her a quilt.

They used lots of their old work clothes as blocks for the quilt, and then had some blocks embroidered by a local place called The Logo Shop. The Logo Shop has embroidered several things on my clients quilts over the years, they always do a fantastic job.

My sweet friend Lori had me do the quilting, and she wanted something with loops or swirls, and this beautiful Soho design by Sarah Ann Myers and is available at Urban Elementz.
