Sharon’s Tumbler quilt!

Sharon made this beautiful tumbler quilt for her daughter, who is getting married soon.  She took two tumbler quilt kits, from a local quilt shop and made one huge quilt.   

I love the variety of colors and prints in the fabrics, which makes Sharon’s random layout work.

I love the vertical look to this design, it’s so versatile, and I’m excited to see it used again and again.   

I used Dyed Natural 30 tex Perma Core A&E thread, and Winline’s cotton/poly blend batting.   

A close up, and angled view...  Texture like this adds some interest to these simple quilt blocks.
